Toronto Toy Fair: Intoystellar 2015 has officially come to a close.

Thanks to all of our exhibitors, partners (Ontario Ghostbusters, Jace Wars and Happy Worker), our special guest, Ron Rubin, and of course, our attendees for making this event truly one to remember!

Not only was a ton of fun had by all in attendance, we managed to raise $500 for Kerry's Place Autism Services through our hourly prize raffle.

We will be collecting feedback in order to determine the best ways to enhance the experience for all in attendance before going about planning our next event. Should you have any positive or constructive feedback about the event, we would love to hear from you at totoyfair@gmail.com

Intoystellar 2015 Custom Figure Showdown (by Happy Worker) Details Announced.

We are pleased to announce details for our Intoystellar Custom Figure Showdown, sponsored by Happy Worker. 

New for this year are categories for kids with the hopes of sparking the imagination of the next generation of toy-makers. We've added to our site the Custom Corner to inspire and instruct customizers of all ages with links to custom figure resources, tutorials and local suppliers to aid them in their creative quest!

Intoystellar 2015 Door Prize Announced: Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer!

Carrying on a proud Toronto Toy Fair tradition, we are pleased to announce the Intoystellar Door prize!

All paid attendees (18+) will have the chance to win a Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer (MSRP $149.99), featuring: 6 minifigures with assorted weapons (Darth Vader, Imperial Officer, 2 Stormtroopers, Imperial Crew, Imperial Navy Trooper), lifting handle, removable top and fold-down sides for easy play, 8 synchronized turning canons, 2 spring-loaded shooters, storage compartment for 2 spare missiles, detailed and interior including rotation Emperor Palpatine hologram.

Official Charity Partner Announced and Exhibitor Applications Now Available!

Toronto Toy Fair is pleased to announce that we will once again be working in partnership with Kerry's Place Autism Services for our Intoystellar 2015 show.

From kerrysplace.org:

Kerry's Place Autism Services has been committed to enhancing the quality of life of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) since 1974 by being leaders in developing and providing evidence-based supports; and by building capacity by sharing our knowledge. 

We are Canada's largest service provider for children, youth and adults with ASD and serve more than 8,000 people with ASD and their families each year.

With the number of individuals with ASD diagnosis growing at an alarming rate each year, the need for more supports and services continues to rise. Through collaborative efforts and a dedicated staff we provide assistance to enable communities to increase their capacity which has resulted in the growth of services available to people with ASD and their families.

All proceeds from our hourly prize raffle (check out what we had to offer at our Octoyberfest show in 2013 here: http://totoyfair.blogspot.ca/2013/09/hourly-prize-raffle-in-support-of.html) will be donated in support of this wonderful organization.

We're Back! Toronto Toy Fair Announces InToyStellar 2015

We're back! Toronto Toy Fair is pleased to announce our newest event, InToyStellar: A celebration of sci-fi's hottest toys, games and collectibles, along with your favourite retro and modern action figures, board games, miniatures, and more!

After the huge success of the Toronto Toy Fair on May 5, 2013 fans and dealers alike couldn't wait for the next one. We followed up with the hugely successful Octoyberfest on Oct. 6 of that year, which was not only bigger (over 8000 sq. feet) but had even more awesome programming, including a custom figure contest, video game tournaments and plenty of excitement for the whole family. While the management has been busy with other commitments since then, one question we keep hearing was "When is the next one?"

We can finally provide a definite answer: Oct. 25, 2015 at Thornhill Community Centre (7755 Bayview Ave., Thornhill)

Giving ourselves plenty of time to plan the best show possible, we have already begun the process of booking dealers and other programming partners to bring you another family-friendly-fun-filled day of toy-fueled excitement!
